…I love the fact that this SAME video clip has been used for tons of different “arguments” over the past few years… especially the one with Eli Manning.
Dan Woolley, a fellow graduate from Azusa Pacific University with Lynn & I, was in Haiti when the earthquake struck last week. He was there filming a movie about the poverty in Haiti with Compassion International. Buried in the hotel lobby with 6 floors of rubble over him, Dan used his camera and iPhone and notebook to take pictures and write goodbyes to his family and children not knowing if he would survive!
Lynn found this on MSNBC.com a few minutes ago so wanted to share with others…
OMG! This is the funniest commercial I have seen in a LONG time… Was in bed last night with Lynn watching ‘Hitch’ and this United States Postal Service commercial came on. I was crying and laughing so hard for 3 minutes straight… literally!
I did a search on Google and found this site where you can make an instant new eCover for your special report or product (including CD / DVD images, and more!).
Its fairly easy to do by selecting the eCover template of choice, and then choosing the background image for the cover, then adding the text box, then any additional image. The hardest part is getting the text right. You only have the ONE TEXT BOX to use so you have to limit yourself to 3 words per line, with 4 lines down inside the text box. Play with the text font size and rotation to get it to work for whatever your need is.
After adding an additional picture to spice it up a bit and then “apply” the graphic image and text box, you just click the “finalize” button and wait for it to spit out your NEW eCover. The first time I tried it the site’s server was busy and it didn’t work. I did get a prompt to enter my email address so it could email me a copy when finished but I haven’t seen that email yet….
…so went back a couple of hours later and BAM! New eCover looks pretty snazzy to me…
Anyhow, here is what the cover looks like for the new little report I am working on this week:
Ever thought of setting a “Theme” for your new year ahead?
I just read a blog post by a buddy online by the name of Mark and he discusses how having a “big picture” theme can be a great way to help you move towards what you want more of in the new year.
Theme is kinda like the Chinese do with “the year of the tiger” or the “year of the cow”, but in your case or my case its a punchy little way of setting an energizing vision for the new year…
So what is YOUR 2010 going to be focused on..?
Here is my theme for 2010…
“2010: The Year of Jubilee”
You can read my comment and explanation of my thoughts and feelings under Mark’s blog post found here:
